UK Self-Sponsorship Visa has been launched in the United Kingdom with the aim of attracting exceptional skills to the job market, within a list of professions needed by the country. This visa allows individuals to obtain residency for a period of 5 years, which is renewable.
What is the UK Self-Sponsorship Visa?
It is possible to obtain the UK Self-Sponsorship Visa by establishing a company within a specific field, in order to provide a social and economic contribution to the country. After meeting this requirement, the company receives approval from the Ministry of the Interior. Subsequently, the investor can obtain a certificate qualifying them to manage the company they have established.
Requirements for obtaining the UK Self-Sponsorship Visa:
To obtain the UK Self-Sponsorship Visa, the applicant must obtain official approval, considering their qualifications that enable them to manage and lead the company successfully. Additionally, their annual salary must be at least £25,600.
Furthermore, the following conditions are required:
- Establishing a company in the United Kingdom.
- Applying for the sponsor license.
- Obtaining approval from official authorities to sponsor oneself and manage the company.
- Applying for Self-Sponsored Residency.
Requirements for Obtaining Sponsorship License:
- Ensure that the company’s field of business is qualified and complies with government requirements.
- Confirm that the applicant, who will sponsor themselves, is qualified to manage the company, and that their educational certificates and experience align with the company’s field of work.
- Choose the appropriate legal license type for the company’s business sector.
- Provide the latest bank statement.
- Comprehensive insurance for the company owner.
- Tax certificate.
- Tax identification number.
- Company email address and website (if applicable).
- Business plan for the company.
- Organizational chart illustrating current employees and vacant positions.
- A letter detailing company information, such as business hours, salary rates, and job vacancies.
Requirements for Skilled Worker Residency:
Skilled Worker Residency is an essential part of the UK Self-Sponsorship Visa, and the following requirements are necessary to obtain it:
- Obtain a job offer from an employer in the United Kingdom.
- The employer must be on the list of licensed sponsors approved by the Ministry of the Interior.
- A sponsorship certificate from the employer.
- The job must be on the list of eligible occupations.
- Meet at least RQF Level 3 skill level requirements.
- Secure a minimum annual salary of £26,200.
- Fulfill English language requirements.
- Provide evidence of a bank account with a balance of £1,270.
- Possess a valid passport.
- Provide occupation code, job title, and annual salary.
- Submit the employer’s name and sponsorship license details.
