Spain remained neutral in I and II World Wars but suffered a devastating civil war (1936-1939) and the dictatorship of General Francisco Franco for 36 years.

  1. Applicant must be at least 18 years 
  2. Have a health insurance policy with an insurance company authorized to operate in Spain
  3. Have sufficient financial resources to stay in Spain
  4. Demonstrate the origin of the amount you wish to invest
  5. Not appear as refused in any country which has a valid agreement with Spain
  6. Not have a criminal record in Spain and in the countries where you have lived during the last 5 years
  7. Not have entered or stayed illegally in Spain
  8. Bank statements to prove sufficient income.

  8. Come to Spain in order to receiving your residence permit.
  9. Application process for a residence permit takes around 3 months.
