Dominica is one of the Caribbean islands, the nickname (Nature Land) derives from the pure natural beauty while the island deemed as the smallest island among the others. Step 1
Document Preparation; prepare the required documents and Government application forms. NTL will guide you through the citizenship documents. 

Step 2
Due Diligence; When we submit your application documents to the Government your file processing fee and due diligence fees are payable in full. The fees for due diligence are the same whether you choose donation or the real estate option. 

NTL will connect on your behalf with the citizenship by investment unit and keep you informed of progress and let you know if any further documents are required. 

Once the process of due diligence is completed, the background report is sent directly to the Dominica Government for review by the committee. 

Step 3
Citizenship Committee Approval ;After a successful due diligence report, your file will progress to the Citizenship Committee who will consider your application based upon the documents submitted and findings in the due diligence report. Step 4

To qualify for acquiring the Dominican citizenship by investment, an applicant has two options: 

Government Fund “Donation”:
Make a significant economic contribution to a Government Fund:

  • This option involves making a non-refundable payment to The Commonwealth of Dominica  minimum of USD 100,000 for a single applicant, and increasing depending on the number of dependents included in the application as following: 
  1. USD 100,000 Single Applicant
  2. USD 175,000 Applicant and Spouse
  3. USD 200,000 Family option (includes two children below 18 year)
  4. Any qualifying dependent of the main applicant, other than a spouse: a non-refundable contribution of USD 25,000 per dependent (for any dependent up to the age of 28 in full-time education, or dependent parents over the age of 55).


Purchase approved real estate on the island:
To qualify for acquiring the Dominican citizenship under the real estate investment option, an applicant must buy approved real estate in the island for at least USD $200,000 and maintain ownership of the property for a minimum period three years.

  1. Will Dominica require me to renounce my current citizenship?
    No Dominica does not require you to renounce your current citizenship.
  2. Am I granted citizenship in Dominica for life?
    Yes, you are granted official citizenship for life and it is not revocable.
  3. Can I renew my passport if it expires in 10 years?
    Yes, the process to renew an expired passport is straightforward. It can easily be renewed for a one time low fee at the immigration and passport office in Dominica or at any Dominica consulate worldwide for another 10 years of validity.
  4. There is no catch? What if the program is stopped?
    There are provisions in law that state you keep your citizen’s status even if the Dominica economic citizenship program is stopped.
  5. The passport issued with citizenship is valid for 10 years and then would just be renewed like any other passport.
    Passports for children under 16 years old are being issued for 5 years.
